Saws in excellent shape with all of the plastic pieces and sprocket cover recently replaced. Saw comes with a newish windsor bar. I am asking $420 shipped to your door anywhere in the lower 48.
I will also consider a trade in which a new MS260, MS361, 357 XP or 346 XP is involved.

Why did the plastic need replacing? Was the saw in a wreck?
I don't know your saw like some of these guys do, so give me a little background. I've been thinking about a 7900 but I don't know of a dealer in New Mexico. How's parts availability on Dolmar's?
:blob2:

Sold pending payment.
Trimmed, yes it was the saw that got crunched, But I replaced each and every part effected with new parts....it was fixed right albeit costly. As far as the oiler fix. Two washers and some special adhesive cured it.

Red, You can order a new Dolmar form a couple of guys here-DozerDan or Hunter. Bailey's sells them in Makita trim and they can be purchased from other online sources. These same guys can supply parts. I really like my 7900.

Dolmar 120si Owners manual

Hi everyone

I have just acquired a Dolmar 120si and have been unable to find an owner's manual, as I purchased the saw on ebay and it was sold without its manual.

Does anyone know where I can acquire a manual for this particular saw. Obviously it would be easier if I could find one on the Internet so I can down load it to print.

I have found this site very interesting and; reading some of the information posted by the members assisted me in choosing the Dolmar 120si as my first chain saw. I live in Adelaide, South Australia and have just purchased a small hobby farm, with lots of fallen trees I want to cut up for fire wood.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

You should have started a new thread with this!!!

I appreciate your quick response Rich. I am still finding my way around this Site so please forgive this error. However now that I have started it within this thread I shall leave it the way it is currently, and see if I can receive the required information. If not, then I shall take your advice and start a new thread when I find out how to do it.

Cheers

Mingara, What can I help you with? I have a 120si-the fastest saw that I have ever owned of dozens. Any chainsaw manual will give you the basics of operation (If you have no experience be very careful-you bought a high performance pro saw.)

Hi Stumper

thanks for the offer to help me. You are correct in that I do not have much experience in using a chainsaw. I have had about 30 minutes experience using a different saw. I know little about the workings of a chainsaw hence my appeal for help in locating a manual. As you have seen 'Ray' has kindly attached documentation for me in his reply to my request. I will research the information in those and see what I can learn. I have also read a number of safety brochures in relation to operating chainsaws and understand the basics I think; re handling etc.

I appreciate your caution about using the saw. If I have further concerns I will be seeking further further advice perhaps, such as how to sharpen the blade etc.

Cheers

Hi Ray

many thanks for your assistance to my request. It is good to know that I can seek help from you experienced guys. I have printed the documents and currently reading them, hopefully learning as I go.

Thanks again

Cheers

Jim

PB, Yes. I don't know if my 120si is exceptional(Since racers reportedly loved that model I think that it isn't or at least not very exceptional) but it is FAST. It is faster than my PP7900.
