Dolmar PS7900RS

Do any of you know how to get this hybrid in the US? Or maybe could post the specs.I belive this saw can be bought in(Ontario) Canada.A reply or PM from the Canadaian connection,would be great. thanks Kenny

OK, you have peeked my interest. What is a 7900RS? Please say it is a souped up version of the 7900.

There was a limited edition 7900 that Dan made mention of, that could be it.

From what my factory rep tells me. There are 100 new 7900s being shipped into the US, with a little different port timing. They are supposed to have a 10% power advantage over a stock 7900.This is a limited addition saw and there will be no more of them. The only problems I see is that the cost difference is far more than what I charge.

The 7900rS is on dolmar german website. It has.1kw more power and unique paint scheme. The site says something about "optiomized piston and cyl;inder". Whatever that means. There are only 300 for the whole world and I am betting they are all gone.

Hey Rocky-

I'm thinking that our saw shop here could purchase one of the special editions for the owner of the company as a retirement present, he's expressed an interest in a newer, smaller saw and his personality is VERY quirky and he likes collectible type stuff, the shelves in his office are full of knick-knacks and junk, but he's a multi-millionaire so no one really bothers him about it.
