Had a day off today because my mechanic had to fix a problem with the job he did on my chipper brakes so I took it upon myself to use the rest of the day to fix a leak on the reverse feed valve. Mind you it was a weep, not a leak. So I had the seals for a while and I took the valve apart and low and behold the seal retainer had broke. And me without one. So now I have to drive two hours to the dealer at six in the morning to try and get a replacement seal retainer so I don't have two days of a down chipper. Damn, I know I should have waited for work to slow down in the winter to do this. Next time, patience. Patience.

Its tough when something like that happens... but better than having it blow on you when you've got trees stacked in the drive, on the road, a crew ready to go etc etc. you made a good decision to deal with it now.
