But I am curious. Why no love for the Homies?
I have $250 into a XL924 and it's ported, Muffler mod next.
And the other day we had a little saw-off...
This thing put down my friends 044 and 064AVE...lmnop or what-ever and we had neutral cutters - used the same tree.

He got mad and took back the chain he "hooked me up with". When he calms down I'll ask him what it was.
Everybody had 28" 3/8 pitch is all I know.

I don't run the older saws because of parts availbility. I like being able to crusie down to my local dealer and have the part their or in 24 hours. I really don't like to wait till i can find it or pay some out reagious amount and wait for it to be shipped.

Oh some of the orange and white crown get a little miffed when they get outdone by a 25 or 30 year old saw.No big deal.
To tell the truth,my 2100s got outcut by a super running 066 mag,the other day. Both running 36" in a 40" maple.Again,no big deal, just caused me to retune the saw. :)

Makes sense, I hadn't thought of that. That's a lot of cost for availability tho. I have three 82cc homies working great and I'm gonna stock some parts. Not too bad for 500 dollars total.

I really don't think I'll go through them being 46 years old.
But I'm not using them like folks here do. Hence the question to start with I suppose.

Oh, and when I say no love

Looks like it's coming back off of E-Bay; If anybody bid on it, it would only cost me 50 dollars to get rid of it. Maybe time to look at a real job. :blob2:

Thanks.
