Chipper
2004 Dosko 510SD with SmartFeed.
Less than 1000hrs.
This is a great little chipper, and is easy to maneuver into tight spots with sharp knives it will chip up to 5.5” hardwood, and 6” soft wood, though it’s best suited for diameters up to 5”. The first owner pressure washed around the SmartFeed, which damages the LCD screen, so actual hours are not known. However, there are 3 characters on the hr meter, so the unit is under 1000 hrs. I have put around 200 hrs on it, so I’d guess it’s got approximately 600hrs.
The best thing about this chipper is the chip quality...it produces 1/2” mulch grade chips all day.
- No CARB issues - under 50hp.
- Kohler CH730S 23hp twin.
- 6” capacity.
- New feed roller shaft and coupler.
($350 repair). Less than 10hrs.
- New fuel pump less than 30hrs.
- I will include 4 sets of knives with plenty of life left, though they will need to be sharpened.
- Bed Knife (anvil) will need machining or replacement in the next 100hrs, but chips great as of now.
- Tires are in great condition.
- Smart feed LCD is not legible, but systems functions perfectly.
- Very well maintained. Always changed oil with Royal Purple at 20-30 hr intervals, and all bearings greased prior to use.
The chipper is located in Auburn, Ca. I would be willing to meet in the greater Sacramento area.
