need advice cant find size make model anything about my chipper with old white engine need parts thermastat housing manifold carb any advice would be extremely welcome

hercules engines

found out my chipper motor is a hercules g1600 industrial engine anyone have any parts or an old motor they wanna part with or does anyone have any inside info on where to get cheap parts?

Good luck, thats all i have to say. You can find some parts on E-bay, but that's usually hit and miss sometimes. You can try some military surplus places, alot of there generators and water pumpers had hercules engines on them, though they were mainly diesel but some gassers.

What is it that you need?

Can the parts you need be welded -reworked - machined - OH'ed back into service?

Another place you could look would be on the old Gleaner combines that was made in the 60's and possibly early 70's. I know some of the old A machines had them on as a power plant.

Also I have complete Ford strait 6 engines complete with cowling and PTO clutch and everything to bolt right onto your frame, just $2,000 plus shipping.
Might be a good idea considering that a simple brake-down with your engine means you might be out of commission for a few weeks waiting for parts.
