I have a 20x8 dump trailer with a wavy and bent up floor. It had a plastic liner that started getting brittle and eventually cracked and tore out. I don't want to stick a whole bunch of money into this because I don't need such a big trailer on a daily basis, but when I need it it's great. It won't dump chips now without the liner so I need to do something. Just wondering what kind of cheap options I might want to consider in order to get it to dump chips again. Would plywooding the floor with a slick finish on it work?

Are there any shops in your area that sell that plastic liner? I worked for a dumptruck company and we would have trucks with worn beds lined. Ill bet for your small trailer they may have a scrap they would sell cheap.

The trailer is not small, it has a bigger box than most quad axels have so a scrap would not work. I've considered putting in another plastic liner but then I can't load my tractor or load it with logs without the high possibility of damaging it. I'd like to not limit it to being a chip trailer only.

This is the trailer, I don't have much for pictures of it.

We use liners in our asphalt dump trucks. I don't know the exact price, but these are 1/2-5/8" thick and durable as all get out. I'd look at getting another liner.
