Need some help. I have been looking at getting a dump wagon. There is a place about an hour away that sells some. They also list them on e-bay. Just search for Farm Pro dump wagon. I have two uses for it. First one being to haul wood during the spring, summer and fall. The second to use to store wood up by the house in the winter. My main concern is that the one I could easily afford to get right now, is only rated for 2000lbs. And am not sure if that would be sufficient. I figure I could easily stack a cord or more on the wagon with it's size just not sure if it would be to much weight.
Let me know what you guys think.

If you are going to use an atv to pull it that is plenty of weight. I have a tandem axle trailer that is 3ftx6ft and is all a Polaris 500atp wants behind it. Granted I have to go across a creek and up several decent hills. My trailer came from Fredericktown, Ohio Paid around $500 about a year ago.

I wouldn't pull anything heavier than the quad. If you ever get to slipping on a hill the load will own the quad. This is what I came up with for myself. can be built for under 400. I pull this with the rincon and it is enough for it. The small size of the tubing on these ATV frames make me want to make a few trips rather than one large one.
i put these pics up before somewhere.
As you can see the small boat winch easily dumps the trailer. I have loaded it with dirt and it works well. I have the materials to make another one. On the new one I will take the bed out to the outside of the tires and about a foot longer. The one you are looking at holds about a 6th of a cord.

I would use it more for storing wood. I plan on parking out side the back door full of wood. Then when I run out, I can just hook up to it pull it out to the barn and reload. Right know I have a big wooden box that sits by the door, and I have to load my truck out at the barn than unloaded it into the box. I am going to go up to Norwalk Sat. and take a look.
I will let you guys know what I decided
Thanks for the help.
