Ok just bought a brand new MS 280 for $400.00 and a used 044 for 399.00 did I pay to much.

Probably not for the 280, since retail is a few bucks higher. And it would be hard to say without seeing the 044, it could go either way.

Seems high for the 044 unless it is in good shape with a new bar and chain possible. tbst, I was watching that 044 on ebay! Was a pretty good deal, but I like my 361. Trying not to succumb to the addiction of this board.....

Well i know where there is a brand spanking just rebuilt ms460 for a bin of $430 and dont need anything it says anyways.
