Ummmm. I like it!
But I don't agree. Heck, I been using use 100:1 opti in an Alaskan mill with a 120 Dolmar. 5 years of serious abuse and no problems so far. 3 pulls and I'm cutting.
But, it's like anything else. Everyone knows what works for them.

I did get a slick new Stihl Calendar from my "buddy" the Stihl dealer. Too bad He charged me list price for some Stihl parts instead of a discount. Grrrrr.

I use Silkolene Pro II motorcycle two stroke oil mixed at 50:1 in my saws, I use the same thing in my bikes. It's simply the best two stroke oil I've ever seen. Having been a motorcycle mechanic for years I speak from experience here, you can tell the difference in wear when you tear an engine down. I have a Husky 50 that I bought new in 1990 that still runs as good as the day I bought it and I've cut an incredible amount of firewood with it over the years, it's had a steady diet of Silkolene since it was new.
