Anyone have experince with these saws yet?I was thinking about issueing them to new hires as a starter saw before handing off a brand new 200ms.
looks like the old 280e dependable but not much power. The 341 is sold as an arborist chian saw.

I got one last month. Cuts well but usually takes 3-5 tries to start. That can be a pain when your 50ft up.

we use this saw to cut into dirt for bushes and in between chain link fences. I buy a new one when it breaks for this purpose only. I have about 9 all in pieces in my shop since It costs more(time/effort/$) to repair then to buy a new one. Wouldn't put a Stihl through that abuse, but have no problem putting the junker echo into some nasty conditions.

Its pretty light and good to climb with. Not much power though. For the price it might be good for a new hire.

I have bought several and like them pretty good. I actually like the 341 better than the 192 stihl. Of course it's not up there with a 200ms stihl.
