I have an Echo that's not getting oil to the bar. I've cleaned the oil tank up good, checked filter. Not getting any flow to the bar. Does anyone have experience with this saw? Is the oiler a gear driven oiler? What's my next move? Tear the saw apart troubleshoot the mechanisms between tank and bar??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What's my next move?
Post on the chainsaw forum rather than the milling forum ?

No experience with Echos, so my only suggestion is to make sure the oil hole in the bar is not plugged. Bars that have blind holes (only drilled halfway into the bar) get plugged pretty easily. Beyond that, it might be time to tear into the oil pump.

I assume new members are posting their chainsaw questions on the milling forum because it comes up in a google search ? No doubt because we have so much meaty technical information here, whereas over on the chainsaw forum, it's mostly videos of cutting cookies and pics of polished saws sitting on a shelf.
