Hey guys, as the title states I am looking for a CDI box for a 510 evl part number15660118330.
In case this helps anybody else, the pb400e ignition coil will work on the 510 (15662618330)… it is not a direct swap, as it has wires instead of terminals, but I was able to crimp my own terminals onto the coil wires and it worked flawlessly.
The issue I am having is my CDI box stops creating spark when hot, I bench tested the coil and it tested fine, but because I could not find a cdi box, I simply changed the ignition coil hoping it would work, it did for about 10 minutes and then when the cdi box became warm. I lost spark again, at least I found a working solution for the hard to find ignition component.
