I just picked up what appears to be a mint 650evl, sat for years, dumped out nasty looking gas and put in fresh. Started after 4-5 pulls, runs and idles nicely, I just pulled the screen off, would like to know if any muffler mods are possible/beneficial.

The muffler is very restricted. You can open up the muffler and take out the guts. They run alot better but get loud.
