Echo black or white bars on chainsaws

Hi new to the forum. Been looking at chainsaws and have noticed some Echo saws have white bars and some black bars. Is it fair to assume same model with a black bar for sale is an earlier model of same saw with a white blade ? Looking at different brands, cost, purpose of saw, etc. seen Echo CS-590 new with a white bar and a used one with a black bar, both saws were all orange in color. I read Echo has recently switched over to all orange saw bodies over the Grey. Had they switched bar colors as well?

I'm guessing the black bars are older.
