Here is some Echo history that i have dates and papers of. My dad was a dealer from 1970 to 1984
Kyoritsu Noki Company Limited Echo's 1963-1971
Kyoritsu CS-80 1963 First Echo model
Kyoritsu CS-60 1965 Second Echo model
Kyoritsu CS-100 1965
I don't belive any came to the US in these years '63-'65 at least by the company.
March 1969 Echo comes To America. Kyoritsu Noki SN Tags
CS-60S, CS-801 or CS-802, CS-100
1970 CS-301, CS-60S, CS-601, CS-801 or CS802, CS-100
1971 Kioritz SN Tags Echo's
1971-1974 CS-302, CS-60S, CS-451, CS-601, CS-701, CS802, CS-100
1975 CS-302, CS-60S, CS-452, CS-601, CS-701, CS-802, CS-100
1976 CS-302, CS-60S, CS-452, CS-602, CS-702, CS-802, CS1001VL ('76-'80)
1977 CS-302, CS-60S, CS-315, CS-351, CS-452, CS-602, CS-702, CS-802, CS1001VL
1978 Cut Off Saws CS-60S 12" CS-701 14"
1979 CS-302S, CS-60S, CS-315, CS-351, CS-452, CS-602, CS-702, CS-750, CS1001VL
1981 CS-302S, CS-60S, CS-280, CS-290, CS-300, CS-500, CS-600, CS-650, CS-702, CS-750, CS-900
1985 CS-60S, CS-280, CS-290, CS-300, CS-500, CS-610, CS-650, CS-750, CS-900
1986 CS-60S, CS-280, CS-290, CS-300, CS-500, CS-550, CS-610, CS-650, CS-8000, CS-900
Now there could be some overlap of models that dealers had on the shelves and the exact dates of some newer models i don't know for sure in the mid 80's so i just lumped some together.
The one saw that was made the longest was the CS-60S from 1965-2007 that i can find the last ones of. They weren't sold in the US after '83 but still sold overseas, thats 42 years of the same model.
Now there are some models sold in other countries that are in between the models here in the US Like the CS-803 in Japan is the CS-750 in the US
