Want to Buy Echo cs 4600 Chain Brake Assembly

Hello all. I have a really nice used Echo cs 4600 that needs a chainbrake assembly. The saw has the chainbrake handle but virtually nothing past the handle. Either the chainbrake assembly or possibly a project 4600 w/ a complete brake assembly would help. Thanks!

My friend's saw has the same problem and I would really like to fix it. Would a brake from a cs440 or a cs5000 bolt up? Or any other models?

I am not sure. You may want to visit the Echo website, check the illustrated parts lists and see if the parts may interchange. I do know the brake band is no longer made and the remainder of the assembly(if bought new) is close to $50.00
