A local dealer is clearing out a NEW echo cs-5000 for $300.00

My other option is a used 353 for $250.00

Never cut with a echo cs-5000 so i need some feedback here from anyone familiar with these saws.

I will be using them for my groundmen when limbing out a tree.

I recently sold my stihl 026

There's one guy who I've depended on to work on any saw work that I may have had. One saw in particular, A HUSKY!... was giving me serious problems. After taking it in 3 times one summer for a "carb kit" installation, I had him look at the problem and he fixed it! He's the best I know in saw repairs. He's a saw-god. He's got several training plaques he earned while being employed including one of Stihl's highest certificates. When he talks saws, I listen.

Long story short, he couldn't stop bragging how well the Echo saws are made. He's totally sold on their engine design and how they perform. While I only have one Echo, an extendable trimmer, he believes in them, so I don't doubt they're as good as he claims.
