Thinking about buying one from home depot or possibly a CS-8000.

How does the cs 680 compare to a Stihl ms 440 minus a couple cc's? Is it worth spending the extra few hundred to get the stihl or comparable Husky?

It's hard for me to take a shot like that all at once as I just got my license and am trying to pay the bills... but with no interest for 6 months I could pay 100 bucks a month and get it all paid for before the interest kicks in.

The echo will be a fine saw. It is my choice of saw to take into the bush, that will run all day long. The echo maybe a little slower at cutting, but they seem to be less of a pain in the ass. Whatever you buy go to a dealer..... Most of the time they can and will beat the evil "H.D" prices. If you have problems any big box store will do squat for you !
