I think it was about two years ago I saw a booklet or some Echo nomenclature of some kind, that showed a CS-800 (orange) or a CS-8000 (gray), cylinder with a decompression valve on the side of the cylinder.
Sure would be nice to have a decomp on these brute's.
Has anyone ever seen either of these saws with a decomp valve?

a decomp button can be added by a competent person.
Yep, I've wondered about drilling cylinders to install a decomp. I envisioned drilling into a finger port to install one.
I don't have the saw here to look at, but I thought I remembered an extrusion or chunky area on the right side of the cylinder. That could be a good place to do the install.
