Could any of you echo users tell me what Gage,Pitch and drive link count a Echo CS3000 with a 14" bar comes with? i'm thinking of buying one
but am interested if the same chains that fit my 020T er Ms200t will fit.The stihl uses a 050 gage,
50 Drive link 3/8 pitch.

yep the 3000 takes y52. close but no cigar.think every thing else would work. later now.i can recommend the saw to u tho.

3/8 LP as best i can tell. info is not in normal designations.
coded i guess. but 3/8 lp is the smallest chain. as far as i know that echo uses. later now

I went down to the Home Depot to inspect the CS3000.I noticed that the chain tensioner was located in the bar.The replacement bars they sell do not have a tensioner and there is no tensioner
on the saw itself. So Im wundering Being an oregon bar on the saw this must be a proprietory system.
and it looked flimsy any input?

ive not had to tighten the chain as much as normal with a new chain and saw performs well for me. sounds like u mabe ought to look at another saw . later now

The 3000 came out with the "INTENZ" bar but with much in put from dealers they stopped using those bars and went back to a screw. The intenz bar has to far to go beteew notches and if chain is not loose enough you cant get to the next adjustment. The 14" bars takes oregon 91 , 050 gauge , 52 drive links.Or in sandvick 50r , carlton N1 , and so on.You can go to any "ECHO" dealer and get the original screw and adjusting nut and either use the intenz bar till it's shot or just get rid of it and go back to the EA041 mount.
