Echo Question

I have an old Echo 302S that has .25 chain. Is there someone out there that sells a sprocket to convert it to .325 or something more available? This little saw is great for small limbs and light work but the chain and bar are just about history. Thanks.

You should post the question over in the Bailey's sponsored forum. I suspect that you should be able to convert to 3/8" LP, which would be the best choice if you want to go away from the .25" stuff.

I'm running 3/8 Lo Pro on my old Echo 302. Have been for several years now, and it's been just fine.

The old 1970's Echo 301, 302 and 351 all came with either 91S 3/8" LP chain or 25 1/4" chain. They changed the 302S to the 25 only chain, i never saw one with the 3/8" LP chain. You can buy a sprocket for the 3/8" chain for your 302S as they interchange with the earlier 302...Bob

If you use a 3/8 ( 91 chain ) sprocket # 28000,then you need a 3/8 blade # 124MLEA041,first two digits are the bar length.Thats a blade # for casual user,for the commercial user,it would be # 120GPEA041.

I got a box yesterday from Cutters Choise with the parts to put a 3/8# LP bar and chain on the 302S Echo. Now it is ready for the woods. Thanks again for the help. :biggrinbounce2:
