I have used that saw and a few other efcos. Solid, dependable saws. As described this would make one sold firewood getter.
Welcome to the site. Great place for info and some laffs. Russ

well someone should bite at that good price. new ones are getting fewer and fewer since us epa shut efco saws down for anything over the 152 and we cant get those right now either because they are doing a few changes to epa specs. there is talk that efco will come out with a model between the 156 and 165 with more epa by this fall. parts are still very available for 152/156/165 though they are great saws.

I can vouch for that. I ran an 165 fairly often for more then a year. I couldn't get enough adjustment on the hi screw to run cool at first until I eliminated limiter caps, but then with an easy muffler mod it was a fine runner, fairly light weight and compact for a 65cc saw. I ran a 24" on it because I had it and liked the reach but would say 20" would be more comfortable for the power of the saw. About 3 years ago I donated it to a friend who runs a half way house for inmates. They use it for fire wood to heat their facility and wood production for sale. Last time i talked to them it was their main saw and they had a big year selling firewood last year. I've used the Cub Cadet 156 version and was pleased with it. Currently I have a 40 cc model I havent done any mods to. It seems a little cheaper built then the bigger models. My John Deere cs 81 seems well enough built for a pro saw and a solid performer also.
