Efco 981

[Four Paws]

Anybody run one of these saws? Efco is updating their line-up, and I can pick up the 981 (being replaced by the 181) for $419. It is a 81cc saw, 4.2kW, 13,000 RPM, 15 lbs. Looks like a shrunk down 395 Husky. Has a decomp valve for all the limp wristed sawyers out there. Seems like a great deal, but I haven't run it.

A real good running 5 cube saw. They aren't light, though...They are built like a brick chithouse. Has antivibe similar to a stihl with rubber bushings. No springs on this one. A good saw for that money

how does it compare to the 385/2186 and 7900 Dolmar? Just curious - pretty close in displacement.
