Perhaps I don't understand the ArboristSite serach engine but I found nothing on the EGO tools. I got it for the 16" chain saw and add the 10" pole saw. I find them both fantastic. No doubt die hard gasaholics will scorn these but it's been fantastic. First project was a 60' pine that fell in a storm. Limbed and bucked I a day. Maybe because I'm old and take frequent rests, the battery is not a problem, but have never run out of charge. I love no messing with gas, much quieter, instant stop, lighter weight, and never needing service besides chain and bar oil. Highly recommended especially for an occasional user like me, though I think I've used it every week since I bought it this past spring.

Thanks. I'm also looking for ego tool reviews. Why did you choose the 16" between their other sizes ?

I'd read a review and don't think the 18" was available. Might have gotten 18" but honestly, I haven't needed more than 16" for anything. No regrets on this one.

ps: I got their pole saw - 10" chain saw on 12' pole - and it's terrific also. Same battery - have not run out. Added the hedge trimmer, looking at string trimmer.
