dont know if this right place to ask? but here goes need to know extent canadian govt. involved, jobs if any on going for this project &what qualifications needed for same if a federal project must have prevailing wage like we have in the states any info. appreciated, thanks

nyoldman, don't know what your are asking about but if its info on the E.A.B., then check out this web site form the Canadian Food Inspection Agency,(CFIA). www.inspection.gc.ca Or can them in Canada at 1-866-463-6017. Hope this helps ya,

I think you want to work on removing condemned ash trees in canada and want to know how to qualify as a contractor andwhat their standards are re wage standards etc.

I think you should ask the agency that gets the bids; thye must have a bid package that covers those details.

thanks for the info ,currently work for co. in northern new york that has contract in chatham&kent county,ontario for emerald ash borer project,about a 9 hr. ride worked in nyc on asian longhorn beetle for usda ,had choice prevailing federal wage or my reg. union wages+benefits,i chose union need all the rocking chair money i can get! was just curious what was entailed in project and wages etc. this co. likes mushrooms not treefleas haha! it is a fun fact filled trip watching all you folks again thank you
