Hey, I took a look at lawnsite.com recently, and they now have an employment forum for guys looking for work and help wanted. It seems so much better than randomly posting on the general forums. Arboristsite.com thought it may be a good idea. Wha dp you all think? E

About 4% of all jobs are found online. About 86% of jobs are found through networking with live people.

I think it is pointless

i found my current job online

i was out of state and had no other network. hard to network with somone if you do nont live close enough

If your a big healthy guy, you can walk into most midsized tree companies and say I'm looking for some hard work, and want to learn to climb.

You have a good network here, tell Nick where you live and he should eb able to ash the Chisholms to recomend a few companies.

I think it may have a shot. If it sucks in a couple months we will scrap it. It may be cool if you were one of the 4% that got a job that way.

Darin,

I find Lawnsite to be OVERLY divided... way too many different forums; that's as bad as not enough.

However, I don't see anything wrong with giving it a shot... as you said, if it's more trouble than it's worth, it can be scrapped.

Maybe if you build they will come!

Hmm, it may only be 4% but if it you are in that 4%, it happens to you 100%.

Should be interesting. And as Tom says, costs nothing to ignore it.
