Yep, very good pistons, compare to Meteor in quality and finish. I have bought several from a fellow in Greece and have no problems putting them in any saw.

Im running one in my 034 now, been there for almost a year, no problems. Very good quality. I got mine from Greece as well, just takes a long time for shipping.

Just got one last week from Dimitri in greece. Good looking piston but was too tight. Had a little siezure going on and had to sand some material off of piston. I got it to about .0035 or so and seems to be ok now. So anyway check clearance before assembly:cry:

As a precaution when putting any new piston in an engine you should place a ring in the bore above the transfers, square it up with the piston and then measure the ring end gap with a feeler gauge, if its over .009 then it would be good to go. I know most don`t have the gear to measure the bore and the piston to determine the clearance but the ring end gap is a pretty good indicator, if the end gap was too tight I would question the piston fit.

I have 2 saws with Episan pistons from the guy in Greece. Great product. Both saws are running top notch.

I will look to him for my future rebuild products.

The last Episan piston I recieved was made in Turkey. Spelled "Turkiye" Got it from a non-site sponsor in NewYork. Had it in 2 days. I wanted to tell them to advertize here, but I forgot.
Stupid Brain.

I bought one from the greek guy, he was then showing a meteor piston in his add on the bay, then sent a episan piston, I didn't really like that, but the piston has been in an 044 working hard for a dozen tanks of gas, not a problem yet.

Yea my first dealing with him went that way also, he had Meteor pistons shown on his site but the fine print explained he could provide an other quality piston as a replacement, we had a few words over it and now I know which piston I am getting before he ships it out.

Yep, same experience here.

Put an Episan beside a Meteor piston, and 99.9% of people couldnt tell any difference.
