hi guys what kit do you use for your tree business???
im only a small outfit but boy the gear needed!
this is what i have at my disposal

6inch timberwolf chipper 35 hp kubota deisel

252 vermeer stump grinder

nissan cabstar [truck] chip/dump [diesel]

Landrover 4x4 5 cylinder diesel

10X6 flatbed trailer [ifor williams ]

10x5 chip/dump trailer [ifor williams]

2.25 ton mini excavator volvo

8 chainsaws[big ones little ones, ones on poles] ,5 hedge cutters,3 bags climbing /rigging gear

2 cooper pegolar knapsack sprayers ,3 brush cutters ,4 sets of ladders ,1 cat [cable detector],1 resistograph,1 million little hand tools lol,books a whole bloody liberary,3 sets off pole saws,50 road signs and 60 traffic cones....etc etc etc etc

customers seem to think we only need a saw,ladder and a trailer to work on there trees how wrong they are..i get the weirdest looks when i tell customers just how much our kit costs..my next major purchase will be a bucket of some description...oh and an endless list of other things i think would make this job easier

i often think the only people who gain finacialy out of this busines are the customers..arbos, salesmen,and designers of chippers all types of kit i dont think they make a lot ,i got told the proffit on a new saw is unbelievebly low like 10 percent
