Looking for a saddle. I have been looking at these two models/brands. Both about the same price so that is not an issue. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I haven't tried the Ergovation. A buddy let me try the Monkey Beaver a few months ago. I really like it. It's the most comfortable and lightest saddle I've ever used. I didn't work in it but I hung from it for a while several different times over the course of a couple days. It was brand new and he hadn't climbed in it yet so I didn't want to work in it. There are a few videos on August Hunnicke's YouTube channel about it and at the manufacturer where it's made. Seems to be high quality and very thought out. I've been trying to decide between the Monkey Beaver and a Treemotion. Right now I'm leaning toward the Monkey Beaver. I'm climbing on a Liger modded Cougar right now so either would be a nice upgrade.

I can't speak for the ergovation but I hung in the monkey beaver and it is a very comfortable saddle. The layout is awesome for access of tools as well. Basically any saddle that New Tribe makes is gonna be comfortable. And the craftsmanship is always great. I can barely fit in my daughter's new Tribe twist and it is more comfortable than my ergolite. They make a great product.

Haven't tried either but I will plug for newtribe. I have an onyx and it's fantastic. The monkey beaver looks like it has a better back/waist support, but the decals and stuff are a bit loud for me. Also the d's look smaller than the ones on the onyx.
