Hi
It has been in the 40 and 50's the last week and a half and even 70 last weekend but tonight I started a fire it's only 30 something outside but I am bored, the winter months here in southwest Wisconsin not getting over 20(globle warming?) put a good dent in the dry firewood that was cut with a CHAINSAW.We have 3 wood stoves one for cooking and one for underwear heat(house) and a huge forced air furnace in the shop. It has been one of the best winters for logging no snow and three feet of frost. We are set. Seth
Check out the flames shooting from this crotch

ok junkie , hold er up . I used to throw my old magnesium saw cases in the campfire to watch the white-lite but somehow I don't think these new units will be as enlightening ! Jon

That picture would look better if that Elux was in the fire!
My saw.. my saw.. my saw is on fire, we don't need no water,

3 feet of frost up there WOW. We are not that far south of you and we have nothing close to that. I guess maybe I will get on the dozer this weekend and see what we have. It has been warm her the last week or so also but probably just like up there the frost is still there. We just do not have three feet though. As of today it is soft down to about 8 inches making it a muddy mess. I will have to see how far the frost goes after that.

Was up in Tomahawk today and the plumbers are stopping trying to bust the frost at 8' and some said it's 10' in places . Worse year ever for septics freezing . Guess they have been working 7 10's for the last 2 months . Bummer

I wash it every morning and sometimes before bed.
The frost is coming up now and the road bans are on,on most county roads. At the the mill we have a little over a mmbft(million)of round wood, which will get us thu spring break up. Seth

Seth , were you hungover when you took this picture or am I imagining a nightmare working there ????What a profound picture even if it wasn't intentional . Jon
