What is the fastest-growing cold-climate (Zone 5a) evergreen that could be planted as a 150' visual buffer along my property line? Some considerations: The foliage should grow close to the soil to hide the view. My neighborhood has a pretty severe problem with deer eating trees and shrubs. The distance from the house to the offending view is 100 feet. The trees should grow to about 20 feet.
