Have tomorrow afternoon off. Going to get out in the woods and drop a few trees to work up this spring.

I didn't get chance to get out earlier so I am sure the sap is still flowing. But there is still over a foot of snow on the ground so the trees probably haven't picked up too much moisture yet.

Be careful. Make sure it is only the trees that are falling and not you. We have had enough stories of guys getting hurt dealing with firewood.

Was thinking of recording some cuts to compare times with different bar lengths for the three saws. We'll see if time allows. Of course I need to fashion a stand for the camera too

Hey, have fun. I can't work up wood until after dinner in the evening, full bore spring season work stuff now, mowing, working on gear, and today I built a covered mineral feed station.. I got garden plants ready to go in too, if my lazy azz will run the tiller. Well..to be fair to myself, you can't rototill mud very well...has to be at least mostly dry..

I go from lazy snoozy winter hibernation staring at the mud and feedin' the smogger to OMG where are both my stunt doubles??? Takes like two days here to transition the seasons.
