false removable redirect

Use a throwline to get to the crotch you want. Setup your redirect on the end of a rope using a bowline or whatever knot you prefer. Put your climbing line through the redirect. Pull the throwline until you get the redirect to the crotch, tie off the end of the rigging line to the base of the tree (anything will work, texas, running bowline with a half hitch, etc). Do what you need to do. Untie your tie off, pull both ends of your climbing line to retrieve the removable false redirect.

If that sounds like a hell of alot of work, it's because it is.

This is how you'd put in a removable false crotch for rigging, your climbing line would be no different. If you're already in the tree, it creates another set of issues but the theory is the same, you just wouldn't tie off the line to the base, instead you'd choose a point that you're going to revisit before descending to the base.

Running bowline with a tail that reaches the ground. Once you pull out your climbing line, your biggest worry is getting your beaner or beaner and pulley through the bight. I like the idea of the throwline though! This job isn't about following a flow chart, it is about figuring our what works!

just tie in with a second line. there is a nother trick way but im a gonna let others explain it too ya
