Although Field Day of the Past may be months away, the staff and volunteers begun planning for the 2006 event as soon as the gates closed on last year's show. Representatives were at the Virginia Association of Fairs Convention in Williamsburg in early Janaury to scope out available attractions and to keep abreast of important news in the industry. Several new acts have already been booked and visitors can expect to see some new attractions at the 2006 show scheduled for Sept. 15 - 17
