I got started a couple weeks ago and about had a heat stroke. Finished up to day, it wasn't as hot out, but still kicked my butt. The nine footers weren't all the heavy, I could lift them. The 13 footers were all that heavy!!! It was hard to flip them end for end and up on the trailer. I know they are well over a hundred pounds. The 13 footers were the bottom log so they were the widest, just about two foot, the others were about 20". Nice straight logs. Here's a couple pics. Oh, forgot to mention, I was on my own both days. That's why there are no people in the pics. I had the days and couldn't let them get away. Might not get back for months, Joe.

First day:

Second day:

I finished up with 15 planks all together nine, nine footers and six thirteen footers, they are all 2" thick. At work we get tractor trailers in that have 8' 2X4's used as load retainers. They used to pile them up in a tub and when it gets full dump them in the dumpster. I asked if I could have them, and was told yes. So I built this addition on my hunting trailer. I'm going to use the planks to build false log cabin walls on the out side. Notch them to fit tight and bolt them to the studs. i also milled the 6X6 beams we used for the foundation, Joe

Looks like a good bit of work got done! Pretty nice planks too. It sure is great to see the American made big cc's dressed up and ready to work:rock: way to celebrate Independence Day !

Don't know bout the dressed up ,got saw dust all over it. You did a nice job getting the logs up on a good slope that makes it more fun and the slabs are nice to .
