Finaly, I got to cut some firewood for myself today. First time out this year and managed to get 2 cords cut. It sure is fun cutting now, since I have my new Stihl. hehehehehehe. The cutting is fast and furious. After the cutting is over then the real work begins. Nothing like the sound of a good saw ripping along and when the smoke clears , some good fresh air in the woods . Sweating like a pig hauling out the firewood out to my truck on my shoulders. No room for a wheelbarrow. would'nt get a full load then.hehehehe. Even got to show off my new saw to the friendly Game Warden when checked for a permit.. Have a good weekend fella's!

What kind of Stihl did ya get Knotdodger?

No firewood today for this kid. :givebeer:

Just tryin' to burn down some stumps....grrrrrrrr

nice, I here such good things about the 361. I cut a little wood with my 266xp, then attached it to the mill with a 24 inch bar and lp chain and did a little milling. Good day:rock:

The 361 is a "new classic" saw. Like the Stihl of the past that everyone hopes to find in mint condition now, the 056 mag II, 038 Mag II, the old 031AVs. All you have to do is pony up the dollars and go buy one at your local Stihl dealer and enjoy it. They are GREAT saws, I love mine. If I could only have one saw, that is the one.

Hmmm. Yeah, 256 cubic feet of wood is a bit much to haul on your shoulder in one day.

Of course, I guess if you think a cord is something other than 128 cubic feet, you could probably do it.

:bang: Oh no...not another "what makes a cord" argument. Please spare us...just this once. PLease?

There's no argument, boboak. A cord is 128 cubic feet, by law, in every state in the Union.

Some people don't know that, I guess.
