Appreciate the video very much. [emoji106]

The 5800 appears to duplicate the Blue Max/Pinty 58cc x 18” I snagged off evilbay about a year ago.

$109 delivered to my door!! Who could pass up a deal like that?!!

The only ‘fault’ I found with it is it doesn’t have a fast ladle latch. Hence, the zip tie in case of a flooded situation.

Also poor access to the mixture screws (Pac-Man [emoji34]).

Performance is mediocre, but hey!!

Maybe, looks like different plastic but who knows!

Almost looks like my bender Castor chainsaw. This saw I have has a different sound to it kind of.
The Castor 38cc and 40cc saws are copies of a different Zenoah design, the G3800, versions of which are made/sold under about 100 different brands including Earthquake, Ryobi, Homelite (in Australia and New Zealand) and as the Joncutter G3800.
They all have a metal crankcase/engine sub-assembly and both the fuel & oil tanks in the handle assembly.

Here's mine cutting.
I tried to do a comparison vid to the slightly bigger timberpro but forgot to sharpen the timberpro, so its slower than it should be.
After the bigger carb, intake and mild port job the joncutter likes to be set at 15000rpm and hold close to 12000 while cutting.
I switched to .325 chain with a 8 pin rim, the 3/8lp I had on it was ok when it was stock but wouldn't load the ported saw in soft wood, it was quick cutting but felt wrong.
