Not sure this is the correect forum but here goes, I recently purchased an old Fitchburg Chipper, It is a 12" drum style chipper with a Ford 4cyl Industrial engine, The chipper runs great and chips great and throws the chips quite a distance, I got a great deal($450) so I cant complain, The only thing there is no tachometer and I am going to install one and was wondering what the normal operating rpm is supposed to be or is it just run it at what works best for the material being chipped.
I searched the forums and saw where several posters had Fitchburg chippers and that one member may have a manual, If I could get a copy of the blade adjustment section I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
