If you really want to know, you will need to get a little closer to the tree with the camera. Closeups help a lot at times like this.

Dogwood has opposite branching; that should make for an easy ID.

You don't even tell us what part of the world you are in, so that makes it tougher.

it was raining outside :) thats taken out my back door, from inside

right under my avatar says where im from, new jermany :greenchainsaw:

Even my mother could id that one... her and about 85% of my customers.

Is that your climbing saw in your sig there banshee??

those are fightin words! :chainsawguy:
lugging an extension cord all the way up a tree would be kind of tough, for that i use a cordless reciprocating saw. much safer.

thanks for all the responses guys, i guess its a dogwood huh?:hmm3grin2orange:

Just for the sake of overkill...

If it wasn't in bloom two weeks ago, but has been in full bloom the past few days, that's more evidence of a dogwood. Well, at least where I am in western PA, that's the timing of the blossoms.
