When someone shows interest in learning something new in the tree care field or climbing or whatever and asks what would appear to be a 'stupid' question, it would be helpful if you smarter folks did not rip this person a new one. That person will be less likely to ask questions and not get the advice that he needs. Just remember we all started out not knowing anything and had to learn along the way.

Ask your questions here in 101,,that is what this forum is for. Not in the commercial forum.
