272XP Starts and runs very good. A little rough cosmetically. 2 of the top cover screws are stripped out, and several of the screws that hold the recoil on have been changed to coarse thread. The main pivot of the chainbrake handle has some looseness in it but the brake works fine. The on/off switch ceased functioning after I had finished testing the saw in wood. This comes with 16 and 18 inch windsor speed tipped bars. Condition of the 16" is better than the 18" and near new chains for each bar. Compression felt kinda low to me so I put the saw through some big, knotty blocks of maple and it cut great. Didn't bog down at all in that stuff. I touched up the 18" chain but the 16" will need sharpening. Saw will be cleaned head to toe before I ship it. $190 plus shipping costs.

All you people dithering and wringing your hands over which puny new little saw to buy, here you go. A genuine ass kicking firewood saw for under $200. Forget the ms this or the non Xp that, this saw will make firewood way faster, even on a bad day.

Thanks for the endorsement!

And I happen to agree that for under 200 clams you can't do too much better. It's a sweet firewood saw.
