I got a complete (right down to the air cover)Stihl Contra Lightning 135cc from where I work. It was sitting in the basement. I was told by the ol'timers there that they used to cut brazilian rosewood 8' in diameter. The wood was so dense that they claimed they ran the saw wide open for 15 minutes straight just for one cut. That probably explains the low compression, and scored piston which put it into retirement. A guy from Germany via internet told me it is a very rare saw.
I also have the 2 original bars ('64 vintage). Anyone out there to hook me up with a piston the size of a coffee can for this thing!:jawdrop:
