Hey everyone,

I'm having a problem replacing the top-link rocker on my Ford 641 and was wondering if any of you all have experience with this?

This is the cast piece that connects the top-link on the 3-pt Hitch to the transmission casing. The old one was broken on one of its top-link mounting holes and I recently found a replacement.

The problem, I am not able to easily remove the pin (short 7/8" or so cylinder) that attaches the rocker to the rear axle casing.

I've tried removing it by means of a drift punch, but it only comes out about 1" to one side and doesn't move any more, and I don't think I should be driving it any harder.

Any advice?

Thanks Ifnh!

It looks like I just need to pick up a little pneumatic hammer. I was trying to hit it with a 3-lb hammer, but it stopped moving, and I really didn't have too much room to be doing it that way. Hopefully the little air hammer works--sometimes it's just the little details with these things that make all the difference between removing something and breaking something.
