Ford Superduty dump hoist not working!

Yesterday morning on the way to the job I went to dump chips and I ended up having to pitch fork all of it out. I need the exercise but the time spent is not worth it!

I checked the control and fuses and they seem to be good. The hoist still makes noise when I press the "up" button. Maybe the rest of the hydraulic oil leaked out? Is this as simple a fix as putting in new oil or do the lines need to be bled? I have no clue about this stuff.

Is the pump running or solenoid engaging? Verify oil level and check to make sure valve is open allowing fluid to flow into bottom of cylinder. Whatever you do, stay away from pinch points!

If you are hearing the pump run and it is not out of fluid then it might be a sticky solenoid valve or a broken wire going to the valve. Location of the control valve leads to corrosion of the terminals frequently.
