forestry body mfg's

Alright, so I am looking to get an F550 with a forestry package in about another month or two.... MUST have it before April 1.

I've been on the phone with Southco... they said they can have it for me by May... so that obviously doesn't work.

Just sent an e-mail to Schodorf to see what they can do for me.

I'd rather not use Arbortech, and refuse to deal with Royal.

The local dealer can make me a complete package, but it will be $60K which IMO is just far too much for an F550

Any thoughts or input?

thinking of same configuration myself, why not arbortech, is because of durability. check out treetrader.com for companies that build trucks. its better(cheaper) to stick with proven companies as opposed to someone who says they can build you one.$$$$

?#1 y a 550 if u don't need a 4x4 get a cab over better payload and much better turning

Definately need 4x4 seeing as how the truck will come with the plow prep package.

why no arbortech? I have had great luck with the ones I have.

Grand Slam tree had a good used one. Sandblast and paint and you would never know the difference.

I've owned 2 Arbortech bodies and have been happy with both.
