Found a deal today

Talked to a guy today that has a tree trimming business. He has an OWB but has so much wood he's wanting to get rid of some. He said he would sell me as much as I could get in my truck for $35 a load. Would have to split some of it. He said I could have as much as I want. Went out to check it out and there is a BUNCH of red oak that has been cut for almost a year now. :jawdrop:

I think I'm going to get 3-4 loads just to have a backup/ extra supply.

That sounds pretty good to me as i just paid $50 for a pickup load and it wasn't even oak! I usually get most of my wood for free from a log yard a couple of miles from my house, so I would say that you did good.

That would be a steal with my truck, holds 2.3cords of rounds, stacked neatly
