Since our contract ran out up in northern Calif. I've been drifting along trying to find a company i fit in with. I wanted to be in the mountains or by the beach. Living in So. Cal my whole life both possibilitys were possible.
But her i am i New Mexico loving it. Im so far in the sticks nearest gas station is 16 miles away. This is where the deer and Antelope play cause their all over the place.
You don't see a lot of trees, but there around. We have the college, military bases, and every farm house has a grove of trees. Staying busy.
I'd of never thought id like it out here, but country living has a certain appeal.

Glad you like it there. Pardon my ignorance but I thought there was enough dead trees up there for the next 100 years. You said your contract ran out. I'm assuming there are still plenty of dead trees there?

I worked for two company's that both stopped working up there. We had a bunch of rain this year. Slow the beetles down.

God's country, to me anyway. The air is dry and nice and the streams are pretty. The sounds of silence and picturesque views. It is healthier out there.

Glad youre liking it out there. Sounds nice. I lived in San Diego county and I moved up to Mendocino county. Yay nature!
