is this normal and it says 20 tree minimum
on the bottom if you can not see it.
i bet there is no clean up and they leave all the tops on the ground. but is this normal?

I wouldn't say normal but it looks like the guy knows what he is doing and will make out how he sees fit.
You get some guys who will pay for the right timber around here as well. It all depends on circumstance. Heck, if I didn't do this work I would be putting ads on CL looking for logs and might even pay.

in VA loggers typically split the take with the landowners. get the logs for free, heck ya!

here in the Beaumont Texas area, after ike, the loggers had a field day cleaning up. I climbed for a few taking down busted stuff near houses, nothing like have a skidder on a tree job.:hmm3grin2orange:

Maybe he just starts cutting and cutting until he's clearcut your whole lot and is looking at the supports for your deck. Then you've gotta pay him off to put the saw down and walk away.
