Im going to be making an adjustable ring friction saver using some tenex and I need some opinions on a design. I looked at some in Sherrill that were adjustable using a seperate prusik and I read on here about making one in the form of a whoopie sling. My question is which would be a better design and if making one with the whoopie design in mind would you put a ring in each eye splice (adjustable and dead eye) or 2 rings in the dead eye and loop it through the adjustable and cinch it down

A ring in the eye of a whoopie sling, and one in the adjustable loop.

If you want to cinch it down tight, you can always ignore the second ring, and just use one ring instead of both. Make sure it is a strong enough ring to use by itself.
